1. What is your favorite hobby, activity, or creative outlet?
Since having a child, my hobbies have taken a back seat! I can still get out and hike though, which I love to do. I have a backpack that can hold my son (he’s almost 2) and we’ll take the dog out to hike. It’s a great way to get some exercise, put my phone away, and enjoy nature.

2. Do you have a personal aspiration you’re working toward?
I have so much fun playing music and would love to play in a local cover band. I have played the drums for most of my life and have been in and out of bands, but since living in Chattanooga, I haven’t had the time to meet any other musicians.
3. What is your favorite part about your job and why?
My favorite part about my job is interacting with my coworkers on a day to day basis. We have so many great people who work here at EvacuationPlans.com and I love getting to know folks. I worked remotely for about 5 years starting during the pandemic, so it’s nice to interact with people who aren’t my wife, child, and dog!
4. What aspect of the organization makes you proud to work here?
While I have only been here a few months, there are many aspects of EvacuationPlans.com that make me proud to work here. We take pride in our work and manufacture a great product, do things the right way, and most importantly, we try our best to take care of each other.

5. What destination do you hope to visit one day?
I would love to go on a long trip and visit all the Nordic countries one day. My top picks from these countries would be Norway and Iceland. The fjords look beautiful and Iceland looks like a different planet!
6. What’s a cause that you are passionate about?
I have been involved with the Chattanooga Autism Center since living here. My niece is non-verbal autistic and I know some of the challenges my brother and his family have faced, so I want to try and help other families with similar challenges.
7. Do you follow any sports teams?
I loosely follow quite a few sports teams like the Braves and the Falcons, but the only team that I follow closely is the University of Georgia football team – Go Dawgs! I went to UGA when Matt Stafford was the QB and he was in a couple of my classes (albeit, he rarely came to class), so I also follow him in the NFL.

8. What is your ideal weekend?
My ideal weekend would be one with no plans, nice cool weather, and a great slate of college football on TV. I would get some food to throw on the smoker and watch football all weekend.
